Any display shows a live visual, created with GLSL shaders, that is affected by the touch of a big mushroom shaped sensor. With the Raspberry Pi, the display can also be a cathode ray tube TV easily, not only HDMI.
Custom: Weatherstation data Bridge
Directly recieves and decodes the wireless transmissions from Fine Offset personal weather stations (and their many clones). Broadcast the messages as JSON through a websocket server for further integration. Plug and Play.
Custom: HDMI-NDI Bridge
A low latency NDI network video source from a local HDMI 2.0 input. For older Software, that does not yet support NDI, or for Video Cameras.
Custom: Environmental Data Server
Data for air quality, CO₂-Levels, VOC through the gas sensor and further measures of temp/humidty/pressure are available in the network for further integration. They can be obtained through a websocket server or as OSC messages. Ethernet or Wifi. Plug and Play.
Custom: Autovideoplayer
A no frills video player recipe, that plays videos from a USB-Stick on insertion. Stops on remove. Without user interaction or On Screen Display. Good as backup for live video production or at art galleries for video installation setups. HDMI with audio. True plug and play. See the arty demonstration video from 2019 below.
Coins for war
#EEXpat II, Day 15 – Coins. Using ‘War’ from Day 8 and ‘the thing that broke before I could test’ it from Day 11, I am feeding the Euros faster and faster to keep the machine guns crackling and the blood spilling.
Distortions
#EEXpat I on day 10 – Distortions (of the self). Think of each of them as separate distorting mirrors in a magic cabinet. I always wanted to develop things like these as simple interactive eye catchers to play with.
